“Friendly Voices” Written and performed by Mike “WWTharn” Santarelli
The Wing Walkers wish to honor the memory of a dear friend, Art Stacy, taken too soon and too quickly from this world on June 7, 2006.
Art was known to the Wing Walkers first as WW_Willie, later and most recently as WWKat. He served the Wing Walkers with honor and distinction as a friend, comrade, leader and gentleman.
The members of the Wing Walkers wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to Art’s family. He was part of our family too, and we feel his loss very deeply.
We love ya, Kat.
This is the hard part… updating this page for having lost another Wing Walkers member. There are additional things I need to do to this page, to make it reflect the squadron’s feelings (and my own, dammit… I love these guys and it hurts to lose them.)
On January 3rd, 2015, the Wing Walkers lost another long-time family member, friend and pilot. H. Ian “WWWringer” Smuck was called to be Kat’s wingman. I guess Kat was finally tired of trying to cover all our asses at once, so Wringer was called to help him out. While I can’t think of anyone better qualified to keep Kat in line and cover the squadron from the high up-sun position, I -and the entire squadron- will miss Wringer.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of another of our own … Rebecca “WW WhiteLily” Watterson.
Taken too young and too soon from all of us, the Wing Walkers wish to convey our most humble condolences to Rebecca’s family. She had become part of our family too.
You’ll be missed, Rebecca. And remembered fondly.
