  1. When Titus had made up his mind, as to if he liked bears at all, I was laughing my ass off.
  2. Walton Groggins. He played one bad azz character in Justified. Boyd Crowder.
  3. Wow, best hairy legged woman I've seen this week.
  4. Nice, you have talent. I do see one too many rifle slings.
  5. Maybe the red button on the side of the butt shaker seat mount, is the emergency stop for the butt shaker, when you get the 'oh-oh' feeling that you might be starting to 'turtle' from all the shaking. Great rig by the way!
  6. Yep. That was pretty dramatic, but also pretty mild compared to what kind of torture crew members had to endue at the hands of german townspeople before they were mercifully killed, when there was no solders at the small town where the crew were captured. After the war some german townpeople who did these things were captured, tried in an American overseas court, and hung. What a gut wrenching thing to be in a plane when you decide, (a fighter), or are ordered (a bomber), to abandon ship. The plane is what you identify with safety, a chance of making it back to friendly lines, and now you are leaving that. Couldnt get his fellow crewmember, buddy, out of the lower ball turret. It can eat you up inside at night. Its no wonder some people self medicated after the war, and still do after any tramatic experiences.
  7. Griph, I bought my last two computers used off of Ebay, and as such, both of them included PS's that only came with the modular cables to run each specific MB, not a full set. So, my 750W and 850W PS's I have from those 2 previous computers, (the Corsair AX850 Platium is quite nice), only came with one 12v MB modular cable, as thats all the MB's in the used computers needed. I see the MSI PRO Z790-A MB I/we have, has 2 8 pin sockets. I really dont want to buy a new, 3rd PS, just to get all the modular cables and the 2 12v MB cables the MB requires. I imagine you used 2 separate cables from the PS you bought? I wonder, could I get a 8 pin to 2 8pin splitter for the one CPU 8pin 12v cable I have on my used 850W PS, or is it asking for trouble? Buying a set of modular cables to fit the PS is nearly half the price of a new 750W Corsair. MY Corsair 850W PS says 840W on 12v+ rail, existiing cable is 4+4, so this splitter should be right. I dont want to smoke a $220 MB with the wrong pin out on the cable. https://www.amazon.com/Splitter-TeamProfitcom-Motherboard-Y-Splitter-Extension/dp/B07W9H9GNF/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
  8. Good news. Yes, I was a little concerned about the possibility that I would have trouble when I start my new build, and then getting the joystick controls working after transfering the games over. I have DCS account and a few planes, but I havent had it installed on the last 2 computers. My concern was mostly Thrustmaster Cougar Foxy software re-install or transfering.
  9. Thanks for the info. I found a key here, havent bought it yet. https://www.kinguin.net/category/67755/windows-10-home-online-activation-key?o=61dd7fcdef0d7300019f6592
  10. @Griph, can you elaborate what worked, and didnt to get windows on the computer? You using new retail version of Windows? I was 95% sure I was going to send all my parts back to Amazon, $700, but still am investigating a way to use my OEM version of Windows, and then put in a legit 2nd party serial # to activate the OEM version like its the first install. Stalled right now, looking for my SSD caddy to make a backup of the orig. SSD drive onto a spare Crucial SSD drive I have. Last time I used the caddy, I dont remember where I put it that would be easy to find the next time. ARRG... haha. EDIT: still lookin for the caddy, but while looking in boxes, I found a used Corsair AX Series, AX850 PS I thought I had. Dang, that PS is $225 on Amazon, not a bad find.
  11. Happy Birthday Griph!! All good points about getting HD content from one computer to the other one. Since I have an enterprise pre-installed OEM_DM version of Win10 thats non transferable, on the "old" computer, Im doubtful just slamming in the SSD in the just built computer will result in having an authorized copy of Win on the new build. Building a new computer was based on being able to use the existing SSD to avoid all the transfering of games and Joystick calibration settings onto a new SSD in the new build, Im re-thinking the wisdom of starting a new build that could have me frustrated trying to finish it, and being able to game on it without a bunch of tranferring. Even clonning the old SSD drive before I try it in the new build, (good advice), is more than I want to tackle.
  12. Boy, Biker, you look like a pro putter-together'er. You knew to take a picture with no assembly instruction sheet laying nearby in the picture. Kudos's.
  13. Thanks. I bought the same MB and RAM as you. My Amazon order is coming Friday and Monday, so I may ask you what you chose as RAM settings, if any. I may be making a bad choice with the Windows option. Im wanting to take the chance of taking the 1TB SSD 2.5" HD out of my current computer and booting up the new build from that. I dont know that Im going to have an easy go of installing Thrustmaster Cougar software on a new SSD, and messing around installing other apps that require that I find the file associated with it on the HD of that old computer, to get the settings ini. file over to the new build, like I would if I would start with a new Win. install on the new build. So, unless someone says, be prepared for failure with the swap the old SSD into the new build,, Im hoping that Win 10 on the existing SSD that will be in the new comp. when I turn it on the first time, will say, "whoa, you have new hardware installed", and load the Windows default drivers, which will get me by, until I go online and download and install the MB drivers for the NIC and sound, and other drivers from the MB webpage. The Cougar files, and other apps should be happy being in a new computer, as only the MB drivers would need to be updated. Boy, what I wouldnt give to be 65 again, when I was ready to tackle a new Win install, and re-install of all the stuff from the old HD. Im 10+ years past the 65 age cliff, and am just not looking for the best way to do things anymore, just getting through as easy as I can. Physically life is a real challenge now days, My spine is fused/fusing together, and Im pretty much finished now days. Havent been able to lay prone to sleep in a bed for over a year now, sleep sitting in chair. Its a hugh benefit to me to have you finishing your build before me, with the same basic hardware, so I know things fit into the case, and which header connectors from the case, fit on the MB pins, it I mess that up.
