Looking good Chunk

Ya I'm running the Steam version in beta, that's what I was using Grif when we flew with Bomrr. It's been a while since firing up any flight sim but DCS (WW2 and Helis) have got me interested again. There's been a lot of updates and they look pretty good.

One of the things I like about the Steam version is auto update, although that's pretty minor. I think prices for me when I checked it out way back when were also better on Steam but that may have changed over time.

Plague the 2 things I'd look at first would be memory if your running 2 sticks take one out and stress test your system. The next would be the power supply which isn't as easy to replace and I'm not sure about anything to testing. My son had the same problem your describing and a new PSU, Corsair HX1000 (over kill) did the trick. Plague did you buy a Crucial MX500 SSD, I remember us talking about it but can't remember what you decided on. If you did Crucial has a program called Crucial Storage Executive that tests the health of your drive. I'm sure it's fine, those drives are bullet proof.

Don't want to hijack Geezers post here, which I guess has already happened but Chunk did you have Microsoft store hack enabled to use and upload profiles when you where running windows 10? It may have to be repeated in 11 to get it to work. This is what I used back in the day for windows 10 home Uninstall & Reinstall Store Right click on Windows Start > Right click on Windows Powershell (Admin) > Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter > Reboot your computer Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} -

Good to hear you had success with win 11 Geez. I just yesterday turned on TPM (On my Gigabyte board called PTT) and am ready to do the same. I think I'll clone my system drive just in case. I have this arriving in a few hours https://www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/alienware-34-curved-qd-oled-gaming-monitor-aw3423dwf/apd/210-bfrp/monitors-monitor-accessories From what I've read, win 11 works best with hdr. Most of the good setup guides include win 11 options. My big concern is with my outdated CH gear software (CH Control Manager), will it continue to work as it does with win 10. and that's a must have for me. Cephas, did you move to win 11 and still run Control manager? That 4070ti will be a pretty good upgrade and have access to DLSS 3.0/5. Good pick -

Hope those aren't pleasure boats out on the lake. Nice to see the planes my son works on in action (https://aerialfirefighter.vikingair.com/) Stay safe -
Nice run Chunk, Is that Jim Clark nipping at your heels. You would have loved that 67 AC series we ran. I'd probably do it again if I could round up enough racers.

Sad news Sandy. I'm not one much for folk type music but I really did like Gordon Lightfoot. I was living up at Sault Ste Marie Ont. at the time the Edmund Fitzgerald sank. A friend of mine who was either coast guard or working the tugs (can't remember which) went out to try help during that disaster. Strange I just watched this the other day on Rick Beato's channel

Nice setup Chunk. Your stand looks very similar to the one I use. I've got my my trusty old Logitech G25 attached to it.
-
Ya I know I had a pile of tracks and content manager was the only way to go. It's been quite a while since I loaded up AC, I even stored my racing setup. Interest was strong at the beginning and we did get through the 67 series with good numbers but things quickly faded with the group.
-
Ya, One of the guys checked it out for quality and was so impressed we all bought it. Glad you found the rest of the tracks

Here's what I found Chunk I'm pretty sure I have the whole list Chunk If you can't find any I'll get them over to you.
