That was great fun flying with everyone last night. I spent the first hour boring holes in the sky flying Wingman with no enemies to be found but I got a good feel for the G14 again and then when I did finally see the enemy my guns just would not work!!!!! After rejoining the game my second flight though was the exact opposite. I took out an I-16 within a minute of takeoff then added 2 IL2's as I got to the target area, and then got hopelessly (or should I say WWHappy style) lost in the Russian wilderness while getting bounced by Migs. I got the first one but the second one took me by surprise will I was trying to orientate. Can someone bust me out of a prison camp please?

  3. We fly Axis this Sunday with opfor slots available. Someone will have to volunteer to fly the 2 seater to retrieve the spy from enemy territory. One spare 2 seater available in case of being shot down. The agent is ready to go

Plans are in the works. Start digging a tunnel to that old stump you can see outside the fence! It's got a lid!

  5. Finally had a chance get a grip on the G2 and rpm sweet spots for taxiing/flying Maybe we can try this for pulling off the line to the taxiway, then 90 degree pivot turn. Basically full brake, set the RPM, then 3,2,1, release brake to roll or pivot turn. Should simplify starting together. Pivot turns - brake, set throttle to 1500 rpm, while holding both toe brakes, full left rudder, (don't touch the throttle, leave it at 1500 rpm) then release right toe brake to pivot, full brake and center rudder to stop (still not touching the throttle) rinse and repeat for more turns, throttle back when your done. very easy to constantly control pivot turns. Taxi start stop, if we brake and maintain about 1400-1500 rpms, using brakes without throttle in all the way back, we should be able to start/stop rolling on command more easily. See what you thing... Here's a demo video. ~S~
