I had a 2.4ghz corsair unit I used for racing a while back Diz. Like you it kept dropping out and in the middle of a race it wasn't good. I tried different receiver locations, usb2 usb3, didn't matter, very unstable so I gave up.
I use Creative BT earphones for my LG oled TV and it's never dropped.
Hit and miss I'd say
Can't help with the page file/crash dump issue Duck but I thought I'd mention, I've been using
https://www.aomeitech.com/pa/standard.html
to reclaim unallocated HD space. It's free and is a good product. You can even use it to clone but I still use acronis for that.
I did use this with FC for a earlier fuel tank task and after todays discussion I'm going back to that format.
As a bonus we have fake vehicles which I'm pretty sure we didn't have in the past.
Off to Arma 3 mission building where things are even more complicated.
Thanks guys, Cephas that image up top is from your mission.
What I have done lately is use a command damage mcu 'complete' and set my damage report to whatever to get desired results. Makes for easier kills but that's usually needed for FC because this is basically a WW2 sim.
So the upshot is, if your counting a block with multiple objects you may not get the desired results because it's firing off onkilled signals to the counter. Correct?
Cephas I was looking at your group for oil tank % killed and have a question regarding the counters
I noticed you have 11, 21 and 30 set in the counter for the four blocks. I would have put 2, 3 and 4 once the blocks were destroyed (killed)
Does the damage report count as well as the onkilled?
If that's the case that explains why some of my counters give me the wrong result.
Duck mentioned to me last week you don't need to do that anymore, just fire up the sim followed by the ME.
I just tried it and found it worked fine.
You do get a error msg, just click OK and away you go.
I'm going to hang on to the ME on a different drive until I'm sure it runs stable, lots of talk about ME crashes which I get very few.
Recent talk about group files, and it's been a while since the last update so these are new to Jan. 09 2021
Available in the first post
BTW; a lot of these can be easily adapted for WW2 use
Truly amazing.
With regards to constant crashing Cephas. I find I can somewhat avoid it by "set group as working" or having a group working before saving.
I've noticed for example if I'm deleting a bunch of cities on part of the map, the city group I've been working on becomes ungrouped,
if I try saving at that point I will get a ME crash. There's other reasons for crashes and lots of talk on the forums but I've had very few problems.
Here's a image of a mission I'm working on for this Sunday. Notice everything is grouped. The save times are much faster.
Sorry Sandy I wrote that at the same time you replied, meant for Robby.
I'd probably like getting into this newer world of aviation seeing how I own a lot of it for DCS but find between Arma and FC mission building which I really enjoy there isn't enough hours in a day.
I was wondering where you've been. Did you buy the 18 and the carrier?
I was going to get south east England just to fly heli's for site seeing but decided to pass I already have Normandy. That's close enough.

Not in use at all these days but decided to visit the site Grif kept up for us over the last 10+ years.
Looking through some of the old posts I would have to say the late 60's F1 season, Assetto Corsa event we held with a few WW's and JG1 guys was a real highlight.
I agree, we have enough late war stuff. I'd like to see some late 16 early 17 Like the N11 or 17, dh2 early albs, rolland. I do like the bombers but more for using in missions for escorting, and for our bomber boys.
