Directions for attaching sig pics

Recommended Posts

Log in (won't work if you're not registered and/or not logged in)

Click the "profile" button in the menu at the top of this page.

Scroll down to the "Signature" block.

To add a graphic, first obtain the URL on the web where your image is located. It can't be on your personal computer, unless your computer is a web server too. For our purposes, WW sig files are generally either hosted on the member's own web site or on the WW domain itself.

Copy the precise URL address, including all the "http://" stuff.

Paste the URL into the signature block where you would like the image to appear. For those wondering about using HTML code to make pretty tables and such for you sig... you can't. I have HTML disabled on this forum for security reasons.

Enclose the URL in BBCode image tags, as such:

(your lines of text displaying under the image here)

Save the changes, and voila... you've got a graphic signature. /applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=%7BSMILIES_PATH%7D/icon_biggrin.gif&key=64cd7b7a0036899205810ec0a5b90ed7121d5889dd92733089c47c9758b7f4ae">

Here's an example, using my own sig entry:

Administration Officer,
[b][i]Wing Walkers (virtual) Combat Squadron[/i][/b]
