WWVarg
WWGeezer,It is hard to do an exact translation as German sentence structure and meaning is different then English.Hopefully this is a better translation, but remember I'm not German, so this might not be 100% correct.Black Angel Saves French GirlSchwarzer Engel rettet französisches MädchenMore Kills for the Black AngelMehr tödliche Treffer von Seiten des Schwarzen EngelsLt Stachel to receive the Blue MaxLt. Stachel erhält den Blue Max Orden (assuming this is an English award therefore I kept the "Blue" instead of Blau)Black Angel to tour GermanySchwarzer Engel wird auf Deutschland Tour gehen (you could use "Tournee" but I think "Tour" is acceptable)WWVarg
WWGeezer
Thanks Varg, I just need to get close enough that it’s not embarrasing.
WWSensei
If he is still around Prof Fate is German. At least last I knew he lived in Germany and speaks fluent German.
WWGriphos
My long faded reading knowledge of German agrees with Mark Twain: The German dives into the sea of his sentence and comes up on the other side with the verb still in his mouth (or something to that effect). Word order rarely follows the usual English subject-verb-object pattern I think. Maybe for simple sentences like these...
WWGeezer
I'm still getting over the image of a loose verb stuck in someones mouth. Makes me think of swallowing gold fish
