Good book on Kindle sale

Recommended Posts

Horses Don't Fly: The Memoir of the Cowboy Who Became a World War I Ace is on sale on the Amazon Kindle store for $1.99 Canadian (about 1.29 US). Story of Frederick Libby, the first US ace who enlisted in Canada’s army and transferred to the RAF. Shot down a plane on his first flight as an observer, later became a pilot and ace....  worth the read!

I'll pick it up.  I'm just about finished with Panzer Commander: The Memoirs of Colonel Hans von Luck.

Just finished "Boyd" on audio book (Audible). Highly recommend. Very much a "Book of Job" biography.

I bought the hardcover in Dayton, and have read it three times.  Have also loaned it out numerous times.  It's amazing how much the OODA loop comes into play when we instruct law enforcement officers on critical incidents.  Also, Boyd was a guy I would've enjoyed working with.  My bosses don't particularly like my style all the time either.
