WWSittingduck
Just for the hell of it, went to see if the supply of video cards had caught up with demand at all. Seems like it had, but damn, prices are out of sight. I got my card for 750.00 last year, and it's selling for 1600.00 now. But sorting the results of in-stock cards by price high to low was shocking.
WWBiker
That’s just ridiculous 2 times what I paid for whole unit....... wow

WWSandMan
Holy crap... Yeah, I thought I paid too much for my little Asus card (ASUS KO NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 OC Edition 8GB GDDR6) that I got earlier this year. Little did I know it would double in price in six month's time. Simply, WOW. Shit... I can get almost what I paid new for my 1070 card now, as used. That's effing insane!! (but not selling, keeping it as a backup, just in case shit happens.)
WWCephas
3080's are dropping big time in price and have become available in stock new for around 1300 new on Amazon. Still too much, but a huge improvement.

WWChunk
I priced out a pre-built systemand it was just over what I could build on my own. Still expensive as hell regardless.
WWGriphos
Todd says nVidia has invested in production facilities so it won’t lose money like it did with the 3000 series. Scalpers made bank, but nVidia lost. So, when the 4000 is released this fall, there should be plenty. I’ll probably get a 3080 then. Should finally be available for retail by then.
