Great AIO Cooler - Cooler Master 360 Elite Liquid CPU AIO Cooler – 360mm

I had an AIO 360 cooler on my CPU, but it was from the original system I bought back in 2018. I have an AM4 5950X CPU and my idle temps hovered in the 47-49 C temp range. CPU is locked at 4.0 Ghz and voltage at 1.025. It can go higher but this was a sweet spot for good enough performance and keeping cool temps. I was installing a new bluetooth card and noticed the hoses were not just dusty, they were actually starting to flake. I'm no expert, and maybe it would have lasted another 5 years for all I know, but I couldn't afford for it to leak and wipe my system. I didn't win the lottery so I can't afford AM5 chips and memory right now. Anyhoo, saw the Cooler Master was on sale at 40% off so I spent the $59 and change and bought one. Even had enough saved up amazon points to take another $15 off. I'll spend that much to avoid losing the machine.

I changed nothing else about the system except perhaps a little knuckle scraping blood sacrifice getting the old radiator off and getting the new on one, but it wasn't that hard. Fired it up and boom, idle temp at 32 C! Even now with a couple of browser windows open and normal background tasks I'm at 36.5 (see pic). It's only been 3 days since the swap and that's been consistent. Under load it barely gets over 70. I didn't run a benchmark other than running Fallout 4 and Raft. Mainly because F4 is light on the CPU but will run the graphics card to 99% and Raft because it is horribly optimized and runs the CPU a minimum of 85% and often almost 95% while barely touching the GPU (thanks Unity engine). It's easily in the 10-12 C cooler than the previous one. Having just replaced the thermal paste about a month ago I know "old thermal paste" wasn't the explanation.

So, if you need better cooling and have the case that can support a radiator I can recommend this one. I'm not affiliated with them or anything. Just a happy customer.
