Bard Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 11am, in your time zone, a beer must be tilted back for the veterans.I am a bit too late for the east coasters, was attending the dawn service.
WWSensei Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Spent 1100 hours at the local VFW hall service...
Bard Posted November 11, 2006 Author Posted November 11, 2006 At 10:30 I'll pour my guiness - it should be ready to drink at 11:00 ;)
WWSandMan Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I'll be tipping one back in honor of those who've served shortly. In the meantime:
WWWringer Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 We went to the Service at the Cenotaph here in Grimsby. My eldest son was on parade with his Air Cadet Squadron and laid one of the wreaths at the foot of the Cenotaph. It was a very moving service and very well done. We had some US Veterans attend and were part of the Colour Party too.As is typical for this time of year the sky cried too.http://news.sympatico.msn.ca/Remembrance+Day+2006/SpecialFeatures/Articles/RemembranceDay2006.htm?isfa=1
